In 1984, Bandai released the Godzilla 1964 Great Monster Series. Bandai also released a very limited bronze edition. Since then, bootleg versions have been made by unidentified third parties. We have here the real and the bootleg versions, and we show you how to tell them apart.

Godzilla 1964, also know as MosuGoji, is from the 1964 movie Mothra vs. Godzilla.

Bandai’s Great Monster Series, or GMS, commemorated the 30th anniversary of the release of Godzilla. The 18 inch Godzilla 1964 action figure is part of that series.
